| In February of 2006, the Student Alliance held a logo contest open to all CIIS students in order to establish our visual identity. From among nine beautiful and inspiring applications, the group selected this entry from John Burton of the Psy.D. department: |

| The seven-leafed lotus mandala represents the seven institute ideals. The oscillations within the mandala represent the energy and dynamism of group relationships. The calm center represents how an effective Student Alliance can help bring diverse ideas and attitudes together in a cohesive and productive way. |
